Caroline Billingsley, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship trained in gynecologic oncology. She received a Bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina, and went on to receive her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Billingsley offers surgical and medical therapy (including chemotherapy and hormonal treatments) to women with gynecologic cancers, as well as treats pre-cancerous conditions of the female genital tract. Complex benign conditions are also an area of interest for Dr. Billingsley, including endometriosis, fibroids and other conditions. She specializes in both open surgery as well as minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She has a special interest in onco-fertility, or fertility conserving treatment options when appropriate. She is dedicated to clinical research with the mission to contribute to the improvement of clinical outcomes of women with gynecologic cancers including survival and quality of life.
